Description

After the image H-Alpha published here https://astrob.in/342162/C/ this is mix with the RGB capture.

I was unpleasantly surprised to find that the RGB image did not capture any visible signal from the dentelles. All the signal is in the Ha. When I have more shoots Ha, I think I can have a better definition.

The Vela supernova remnant, in the southern constellation Vela, exploded approximately 11000–12300 years ago, at about 800 light years away.
